Hay there. Does soy suppliments grow men boobs? Does soy suppliments fit for men at all? I know there have been few discussions about it, but wanted to make sure. Anyone have any experiences with soyprotein? I know that soy contains high levels of phytoestrogen. What's with /fit/ and it's distaste for cardio? I mean I've seen this in like every other thread, that cardio kills your gains. How does some exercise kill the rest of your exercise? I mean I know cardio doesn't build a shitload of muscle but even outside of the sticky it is said to be great for overall health. So what gives /fit/? Does sex hurt your gains too? It's Cardio.

I've read the sticky and I plan on starting my workout pretty soon, but just as a point of reference what's the general rate gyms use? I was looking at one a while back but a friend told me their $200 initial membership fee was bullshit. Do gyms usually have an initial fee that big or should I look somewhere else?

Riddle me this fitman. Can do sets of 8 pullups (12 one set max), full dead hang ROM, smooth up and down. See a barstar vid and try some explosive pull ups, dead hang then up as fast as I can... fucking dead tired after 5 Should I switch up speeds on pullups? Or always slow and smooth?

Male, 5'10, 260 lbs I've been doing SS for roughly 5 months now. I've been bulking for since I've started, not sure how many calories I just count protein. This is my lift progression so far (all for 5 reps): Squats: 135 - 335 Bench: 95 - 200 OHP: 70 - 155 DL: 185 - 335 I had a lot of trouble with deadlifting when I started, so that's why it's so low. For assistance work I do power shrugs, static holds, hammer curls, tricep extension, and dumbell bench. I do all of my accessory work for 3 sets of 8-12 reps. So far I don't think it hindered my progress, if anything it's helped me lift more. Not to mention those hypertrophy gains. In planning on bulking for another 3-5 months to see how much more progress I can make. After I'm satisfied with my lifts I plan on going on a long cut, and possibly switching to a split, or possibly the Texas method. What're the chances of me hittin a 2 plate OHP, 2.5 plate bench, 4.5 plate squat, and a 5 plate deadlift in that time frame? My lifts are still progressing fairly well, with my squats and deadlifts going up 5 lbs every workout, and my bench and OHP going up 5 lbs every other workout. Is there anything I should change? Am I close to making it? Also pic related, my stats.

Yo /fit/ I started C25k 2 weeks and a half ago, and I can't get over week 2. I'm a fatty in bad shape but my problem isn't keeping the rythm up, it's the fact that my calf muscles fucking hurt like a bitch while jogging. Is this supposed to be? After running 4x 1:30 I just can't even walk anymore since it hurts so bad. Sprinting is okay for me though, I don't feel a lot of pain while doing that, but jogging is almost impossible. Should I just go on and it will get better by itself or isn't this normal? (also my calf muscles don't hurt after workout, it's really only when I'm jogging.)
