I'm a bit confused. This image explains that to gain mass, you should be doing choosing a weight for 6 max reps and work your way up to 12 on ALL exercises. However, many have told me here in /fit/ that compounds should always be made in the 5-6 rep range or I'll make no gains. What's the truth?

ITT: We have a calm and objective discussion about rep ranges. 3x5 vs 3x8-10 vs 3x6-8 etc. How do rep ranges really affect your workout? In the case of volume, surely a split where one body part is worked one day a week at 3x10, would match the overall volume of a push/pull routine where one body part is worked two times a week at 3x5? Do the individual rep ranges really matter, or is it more a case of the overall volume/frequency/intensity each week?

Essentially I found that the quicker someone defecates, and the more they do, there is less protein ingested, since the food doesn't have time to be fully broken down.
