would you say 14.5" flexed arms (with bicep pump) is good for someone 6'0" 165 lbs? keep in mind i only work arms indirectly with barbell bench and barbell rows. people say i look really muscular and to me i do look pretty swole in the mirror but it feels kinda weird because my stats (like my weight for my height) aren't any special

/fit/, what do you know about 'starvation mode'? I'm not a /fit/izen, and google is giving me different opinions on this. Fat 'friend' says she eats 1000 cals or under a day, sometimes fasting, which proves she's not greedy apparently. She doesn't work out at all, so she IS lazy. But neither do I, yet I definitely eat over 1000cals a day and I'm slim. I tell her that working out or not, anyone eating under 1000 cals a day and fasting would still lose weight/not be fat. Maybe skinnyfat (like me if I'm honest), but not FAT fat (she's OBESE). She said that she eats so little that her body has gone into 'starvation mode' and clings onto all the fat she has. I say she's bullshitting and eats way more than 1000 cal., doesn't sound possible to me otherwise else more obese people would be treated for starvation diets.. and they're sort of not.

Abs come out at low body fat, cool, I get that, but what about obliques, also, I realize it's a picture of a statue, but still, is that just genetics, or some kind of exercise? Anyway, I do heavy squats, 3x5, 1.5 per week, moving down to just 1 per week, is that enough stomach work, or do I need anything else? fit how do i strengthen my back? when i do squats with proper form (pt at uni gym and another experienced lifter couching me) my back feels like it's curving in too much (like i'm gonna fold in half backwards but only when i lift with the weight on my heels i'm lifting ass out, chest up, and i'm standing up ass though my ass is being pulled straight up for more glute and hamstring engagement this is with high bar squats at 105lbs i didn't notice the problem with lowbar squats but i believe i was carrying the weight on the balls of my feet then and not my heels also is this dude full of broscience? is it fine to plant my feet so i carry the weight on balls of my feet rather than my heels, heels seem unstable and like it'd be damaging to my feet.
