Is there any harm in occasionally choking yourself? I like to choke myself with a scarf or something like that sometimes to the point where I almost black out. It helps with my anxiety and I always feel better after it. I never do it so long that I would pass out plus even if I would, I wouldn't choke because I don't tie the scarf anywhere or anything like that. I just want to know if this causes brain damage or something?

So in pretty much every "cutting-geared" video, Elliot Hulse (to the left) states that going for "low intensity, high volume" cardio is best at stripping away bodyfat, and then he goes on to say that 40 minute walks and walking up-hill and so on are the best ways of doing this, NOT jogging. How much of this is just broscience? I, myself, am currently doing a boring old 500cal deficit cut, so no magic here, every ~14 days I lose a kilo. Will going for 40 minute walks (as opposed to the marathon running that I do) help strip away bodyfat more efficiently? tl;dr please cite Elliot's "40 minute walks a day" = best way of losing bodyfat%

Fat as fatass here (270lbs) I've been eating better for around a month now, losing weight (was 285) feeling a lot better, but I started counting calories Saturday. It feels like I'm not eating nearly enough calories.. Here's what I ate yeserday; Breakfast - Oatmeal with strawberries Lunch - Tuna sandwich (1 can, 2 pieces of wheat bread, tbs of mayo) Dinner - Club sub from campus sub shop I only drank water and one cup of coffee When I put this in my new calorie calculator app, it only added up to about 1250 calories. I felt fine, (still feel fine), but thats almost 1000 calories below my goal. I want to get to at least 2000 calories, but I really do feel like I ate enough yesterday. Knowing that if I don't eat enough my body will want to binge eat later, what should I do about that deficit?
