Is there any harm in occasionally choking yourself? I like to choke myself with a scarf or something like that sometimes to the point where I almost black out. It helps with my anxiety and I always feel better after it. I never do it so long that I would pass out plus even if I would, I wouldn't choke because I don't tie the scarf anywhere or anything like that. I just want to know if this causes brain damage or something?

Dear /fit/, I wish to become ottermode. I've tried to find specific exercises (Sans swimming) that might achieve this body type, and all I can find is "CARDIO, FAGGOT", unfortunately weak heart/lungs makes it difficult to do cardio exercises for too long. I have looked like this since I was 13 because too much cardio exercise might kill me. How the fuck do I achieve ottermode without blowing up my heart?

has anyone else had experience with shin splints. I have had a hard time overcoming them. I get them on the inside part of my shin. I have very flat feet and my podiatrist said that that can cause the shin to overwork and increases my chance of getting them. I have begun an attempt to increase my running endurance and speed. These shin splints are the only thing keeping me from increasing my miles significantly. The rest of my body feels like its ready for 4 + miles a day but my shins make it impossible to happen. are there any of yall that have experienced/ overcame this.

So we can assume that the monthly price of a gym membership is a life long cost. Gyms may change, and with them price, but it remains, for the most part, constant. So here's my question, to math-type-people and home gym owners; Is it, in the long run, cheaper to buy a home gym or pay for a gym membership each month? I ask because I'm going to buy a house in the next few months and I want to know if I should consider space for picking things up and putting them down.

I've been working out and eating quite a lot of calories and protein for a few weeks. My squats have gone from 30kg to 60kg. My chest has grown by like 25%, my biceps by about 50%. I'm extremely happy with the results I'm seeing. However as everything changes, my abdomen stays the same; no muscle definition whatsoever. The only real core exercises I do are bar rows once/twice a week and kneeling cable crunches three times a week. Should I do more?
