I have been having consistent shoulder pain for the past few days. It started about a month into my most recent stint at lifting. How should I approach treating this? Should I take a break from lifting totally? I was considering substituting my shoulder day for just stretches and light weight shoulder mobility exercises. It also hurts when I do chest and other lifts, so I'm not sure how to proceed.

I'm not sure about something in the Texas Method for example, the first day is 90% 5RM and it goes like this squats 5x5, bench 5x5, barbell rows 3x8 let's say my 90% 5RM squats is 240lbs, so I have to do 5 reps 240lbs x 5 sets without changing the weight between sets? and for the warm-up I can do absolutely what I feel like?

Hey fit I have a couple of questions for you. My favorite thing to lift is legs. I fucking love lifting legs. People always give me strange looks when I give that answer over biceps, chest, or shoulder, but I don't not neglect them. I just prefer legs. Now my questions, will lifting legs increase overall athletic ability? Being able to run faster and jump higher? See, I'm not going for looks here. I'm going for functionality. Will it allow me to achieve one of my goals, touching rim? I just really started out not too long ago. Also, I like to run. Long distance actually. How will it impact this? And the final question. I know the squat is the king of all leg lifts. But what do you think of leg presses? I really like them, and they give me a good burn.
