tl;dr Do the would the ATI proprietary drivers offer a large performance inscrease for my HD4890 or should I stick with the open source drivers? Hey /g/, I just installed a Linux Distro on my Desktop machine, certainly not the first time I have used it but appreantly my video card (HD4890) is no longer supported by the propritary drivers that are provided in the distro's repositrys repos. I can install the legacy driver from ATI's website but I honestly don;t want to deal with the hassle of having to remember to switch drivers to update the kernel or whatever it was you have to do unless the proprietary drivers offer a big performance increase. So I am wondering, would installing the legacy drivers for my HD4890 be a big increase over the Open Source drivers? I do plan on installing steam for Linux.

I have a problem with a program i'm working on. Instructions goes like this, user inserts how many ski competitors are(=Tekmovalci), then he proceeds to insert two timelaps(=prvitek && drugitek), at the end the program must outprint the competitior with the biggest sum of timelaps. What am i doing wrong? Picture related P.s If user inserts value -1, that means that competitor was disqualified

The approach is simple, Microsoft will price its next Windows release at a low cost or even free to ensure users upgrade. Is Microsoft On The Verge Of A Sudden Collapse?

http://www.forbes.com/sites/anthonykosner/2012/11/26/is-microsoft-on-the-verge-of-a-sudden-collapse- predicted-by-catastrophe-theory/ >"In the end, the death spiral for Microsoft is in full effect, and management is expending a lot of effort to speed it up. Anyone who dares point out that the entire system is collapsing. In any case, Microsoft is unwilling to change, and that is very clear. Even if they wanted to, they are culturally far beyond the point of being able to. What was a slow bleed of marketshare is now gushing, and management is clueless, intransigent, and myopic. Game over, the thrashing will continue for a bit, but it won’t change the outcome. Microsoft has failed." >"Even more damning, analysts are calling for a decline in PC and laptop sales for the holiday season on the heels of the release of Windows 8." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAHAHAAAAAA lol, this is what happens when a software empire's monopoly no longer controls the market, times are changing fast.

So I told my professor that I had previously sent them an email with an assignment in it (I hadn't, wasn't finished ) but they want proof that I did. How can I send them proof that I sent them a past email that doesn't exist? Any ideas?

Should I be running my primary use account in W7 as a user and not an administrator? If so, should I just create a new admin account then set my account as a user?
