>CISA PASSED >NO MOTHERFUCKING THREAD ABOUT IT WTF REDDIT >In a nutshell, CISA was meant to allow companies to share information on cyber attacks — including data from private citizens — with other companies and the Department of Homeland Security. Once DHS had all the pertinent details, they could be passed along to the FBI and NSA for further investigation and, potentially, legal action. The thing is, critics saw the bill as way for government agencies to more easily keep tabs on Americans without their knowledge. CISA was derided by privacy advocates and tech titans alike, with companies like Amazon, Apple, Dropbox, Google, Facebook and Symantec (to name just a few) issued statements against an earlier version of the bill. >By sticking CISA into such a huge omnibus bill, there's basically no way it won't become law. And if anything, the version of CISA that was quietly slipped into this budget plays with privacy even faster and looser than the original. For one, a previously held prohibition against sharing information with the NSA has been removed, meaning America's best surveillance agency can receive pertinent data without it being handled by Homeland Security first. More importantly, the provision that required personal information to be scrubbed from cybersecurity reports also seems to have gone missing, leaving that task up to the discretion of which ever agency gets their hands on it. While the federal government has been trying to toughen its stance on cybersecurity in the wake of massive hacks on the Office of Personnel Management and Sony, we wound up with an even more effete version of a questionable plan that will soon become law

Hey /g/. I'm currently in the market for a new tablet. My budget is around $240/£150 I'm not sure if I should go for an android tablet or a windows one. I feel the android one would probably run a bit faster but the windows one would be a lot more future proof. Any reccomendations for specific tablets or whether I should go for an android or windows one? I quite like this one, but I feel on 1gb of ram it could be awfully slow http://www.amazon.co.uk/Linx-1-83GHz-Quad-Core-Processor-storage/dp/B00O636WJU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1450543589&sr=8-3&keywords=tablet+windows my only worry with android is after a few years when there are newer versions of android, my tablet will start to become useless as I will not be able to download a lot of apps, whereas with windows I would not have this problem

>The US Government has pinpointed some of the largest piracy websites and other copyright infringing venues. The USTR calls on foreign countries to take action against popular piracy sites such as KickassTorrents, as well as Canadian domain registrar Rebel and Swiss hosting service Private Layer. >https://torrentfreak.com/u-s-govt-targets-torrent-sites-and-other-piracy-havens-151218 How long until the retards make a tracker and client p2p so there is no more websites to take down? just make it able to add addons to it and "subscribe" or something to different sources, is that hard?
