openSUSE thread I've recently installed openSUSE and it has been the best KDE experience I've experienced to date. What do you guys think about it? Also install openSUSE if you haven't used it yet it's totally worth a try. :)

Is there any reason to not buy the most innovative, ground-breaking, beyond imagination yet accessible smartphone to appear on the market in June 2013?

ITT we talk about the technology we wanted to come out, we begged to give them our money, even though we had a sneaky feeling about them, and then it turned out they were the ultimate in vapourware. I'll start.

Thoughts on Paranoid Android Halo? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODo4nIm8Osw I can't decide if it's actually useful, or just a clever idea which in reality makes things more cumbersome.

Are there any decent mobile broadband providers? I've been looking, and it all looks like bait-and-switch capping. I just want to have internet on the go without having to buy a smart phone to use it.

There doesn't seem to be a guide or general how-to on desktop video recording. What's the best method for achieving the highest quality output, essentially the ".png" of recording. Here's what I use; Software: Total Recorder 8.2 Video: Lagarith Lossless Video Codec(Multi-threading) Audio:MP3 128kbp FPS: 60 Is this the best?

I need help. I have been a a watcher of 4chan for years but I got caught up into a account and people got screenshots. It was done on my computer but I just wanted to know, how can you spoof or hide your ip address from the police?

Okay this is a question about "ricing" What makes "gaymen blue leds" so gay and lame? I mean If you have a really nice case with some good stuff inside, whats so gay about some led's? I feel like the only way to meet /g/s standards is to have a fractal design case and a extremely overpriced mechanical keyboard, and just be really really plain and not creative what so ever. My question is, why though?

Would a netbook running xp or a light distro of gnu/linux or unix perform better than a rooted Galaxy s4 for sniffing wireless spots and network diagnostics? The only con of the smartphone I can think of is the lack of an ethernet port

Downloading Issue

1 more posts in this thread. [Missing image file: internet-marketing-strategy-traffic1.jpg]
Hello /g/, I'm having a really weird problem with my internet connection. The problem started this morning out of nowhere, I haven't downloaded or done anything abnormal prior to it. The problem is that my downloads aren't initializing. I can download a program in Firefox fine, such as say Ccleaner for example, and it'll download and go to my desktop where I want it to be. However, when I go to install it, it hangs. This is the case for downloading torrents in Deluge as well, it just simply won't start. I've tested my internet speed at speedtest.net and both my download and upload speeds are great. I've also ran malware scans on my computer and found nothing (to no surprise). Last but not least, I've rebooted my router and modem along with flushed my DNS. I have no idea what else I can possibly do at this point. I'd go with a quick 30 minute re-format but is it really necessary for an internet connection issue?
