Anyone handy with MIPS or assembly? I'm trying to implement the bubble sort for ASCII characters on MIPS. All I have to do is sort 10 ASCII characters. The assumption is that 10 will be inputted and only alphabet characters will be inserted (so no error catching needs to be put in place).
First, I need to convert everything to uppercase which is handled easily. Second, I need to sort the characters from 'least' to 'greatest' (ASCII 'A' is less than ASCII 'Z').
Currently, my code sorts everything fine...as long as there are no repeated characters. If there are, it just sorts once and finishes.
I understand what needs to be done: I need to sort 10 times (10 elements in the array) to be sure that everything is sorted. I need to make a counter that counts the # of times sort has occurred and once I get to the 10th sort, I need to exit the loop.
How to do that in assembly is another story.

Why haven't you switched to Linux yet, /g/?
>Tabbed file managers, many to choose from, and you're not tied to just Explorer as your only option.
>Tabbed command line, aka, terminals and much more useful than .cmd
>Multiple de's. (Again, you're not tied to just Explorer here)
>Firefox right out of the box (LOL, downloading Firefox through IE just to install it Windows.)
>But m-muh games!
Just ssh into your Windows machine if you need to play your childrens games.
The list goes on, Windows 8 may be out and the best version of Windows so far, but it doesn't change the fact that Windows is deprecated.

I have 2 dllhost processes that are always running, but seem to close as soon as I open the task manager
It's my understanding that the dllhost utility can execute code if the dll has an entry point
They run with pic related command line
I cant find any information on google about that process ID, and a search through my registry reveals various references to things named similar to "profile host", "profile service", etc
I find it extremely suspicious that they mysteriously close a few seconds after I open task manager
Since I cant find any help on google I thought I'd ask /g/, am I infected or is it possible they are legitimate?
