The printer troll?

89 more posts in this thread. [Missing image file: image.jpg]
So this morning I came to work to find a QR code printed out in my printer. So obviously some jackass used a port scanner to find our open ip printer. The problem is that we are a fire department and that printer needs to stay open so we can get emergency info from the county ops center. URL: Whois info traces it back to some fruity Dutch "hacker" (I use the term very loosely) organization called the IFCAT foundation. My question is, should I bother to screw with them? Or just accept that it prob has something to do with black hat. Any advice would be great. Tks

Sup /g/. I'm a musician and one of my favorite naming schemes of songs is to name them after cool sounding viruses (like W32.blah.a or something) Anyone know of any searchable malware databases that I should check out? Thanks!

Hey /g/. I need a new GPU. Im sporting an hd 5850 and the thing has been awesome for the past 3 1/2 years. Its starting to show its age in some games. I'm not opposed to waiting for amd's new line of cards. The 770 has my eye, and my budget is about $350. Anyone think that the 770 will drop within my budget once amd launches its new series?

OK i've seen enought threads about asking if i should choose PC over Desktop and MY awnser is: PC aka portable computer for work (thats why they were invented) best PC out there is either a MacBook Air really fin and as OSX and yeah is a little overpriced but is worth it, another awnser is Thinkpad T60, good build etc ect BUT install Gentoo or any Distro you like. As for desktop MAKE YOUR OWN GOD DAMN BUILD /g/ is here to help with that but go to http://www.logicalincrements.com/ for big help. The only reason to buy any other PC or Desktop is a PROMOTION check the stores in your location to compare prices. /g/ pls prove me wrong or feel free to add something to the advice >Picture related is called Sage in a mmo that i play

Droid DNA

So, I was going to be getting a Droid DNA by HTC this weekend from Verizon Wireless, but now it's not showing up on the store online? Does this mean they don't own it anymore or it's not being sold? It was on promo sale for $50 instead of $200 with the 2 year contract and now it's not even on the site. Did I just spend the past week and a half wanting this phone for them to jew me out just days before I can buy it?
