Been putting this build together for about an hour today and almost 25 minutes yesterday. I've been enjoying being a thrifty jew lately, so expenses were spared in this build. What do you guys think of it and where can i do better? >Pic related; its the build.

Iinux on laptop >Shity battery(50 minutes) >gpu drivers break system had to purge it to get it back >overheats randomly When this laptop had window I could last 4-5 hours on the battery, rarely overheated and gpu drivers were automatically detected. I tried ubuntu, fedora, mint, elementary, and manjaro. Kernel upgrades, non free drivers and tweaks didn't help. Linux runs fine on my desktop but it has sucked on every laptop that I could test on. Is there something I'm missing or is it hopeless on laptops

I live in the UK and according to this: http://www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/where-and-when/ Fibre optic broadband is becoming available in my area. I'm currently with BE broadband, who are awesome about everything, but they recently got bought out by Sky. What fibre-optic-capable broadband operators are there out there in the UK that are ethical and respect my freedom to torrent without throttling?

>You have three arrays, arr1[], arr2[], and arr3[] >arr1[] = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5}; >other arrays are full of zero elements >you must move the elements of arr1[] to arr[3] such that arr3[] = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} >you can use arr2[] as a placeholder array for moves you make >you cannot have any array at one time have element n-1 > n, so no {2, 1, 3, 4, 5} or {0, 0, 0, 5, 2} or etc >the method/function must be recursive, ie. the method/function should do the work algorithmically rather than just a bunch of steps >the function/method should take a parameter for the number of array elements, ie. num = 5 means the arrays have five elements; for the sake of example, use five for submission Does this seem ridiculously difficult for a first year programming class? We can use any language we want, but the program must not exceed 15 lines of logic. This just seems like a 4th year kind of problem.

Why is flash so fucking shitty at video playback? >have radeon OSS driver >no gpu acceleration >cpu load on a 3ghz phenom II dual core nearing 90% >open firefox, check vlc player plugin, install greasemonkey, install viewtube script >youtube now playing with 50% cpu load while the cpu sits at 800mhz pic related
