23yo developer here, italianfag. i've been writing code and fucking around with computers for almost 10 years now, started working recently as a web developer and in less than a year of "proper" work i'm already, compared to most of the guys my age, earning a fuckload of money. i know i'm no code monkey and, even if i practically dropped out of university, i still have my broad knowledge and shit and i want to leverage that. i'm working as a php developer but i feel i'm wasting energy since it doesn't really stimulate me the way i'd like. plus i have a lot going on in my life and my current full-time job is preventing me to do any of that since i'm too tired to do anything but cook, eat and go to sleep in the evening.
i'm currently earning 1500euros/month net for a 40 hours week, used to earn 900 net for a 24 hours week which left me much free time but not really much money.
i'd love to find a way to work part-time while still earning (much?) more than i do now so that i can both be free of cultivating my hobbies and living an acceptable, happy life with not much more money than i need for living and making myself and the people i love some little presents now and then.
what should i do?

Should I really stop using google /g/?
I recently switched to using duckduckgo and startpage (for image searches).
It's all fine and good, however one thing comes to mind...
If all the people like me, who are willing to go off the grid, or switch from google, actually end up doing just that, then the only people left from which google can gather statistics are the people who don't do that.
They will have no statistics about the paranoid, antisocial population, and may even think we don't exist!
So then when they sell those statistics to companies we are going to see products and features and services all catered to "normal" people....
Part of me thinks we should just use google if only for that reason. Show them the depths of your perversions and paranoia through your search results.
On a more serious note... Is it really that bad to use google? I find myself going through google withdrawals... Google had been set as my homepage almost since the day I first heard about it all those years ago. Feels so strange to not have it greet me each day.
Someone set me straight.
Also, what about Google+... I strongly prefer it over facebook, should I not? (I've never had a facebook though so ya....)
