Can you make confident lines on a tablet? I'm using a Wacom Bamboo, and my lines are jittery and slow. The programs I'm using are FireAlpaca and Krita, if that's any significance.

I have finally finished my book after some arduous months. Now it's time to come back. Which blogging platform would be the best to post all the books in? I still lean for tumblr but I already got deleted once. I'd use blogspot if I knew how to change it's format. Here's the link to books I have on mega (it does not include the other 100 or so in my computer) https://mega.co.nz/#F!WBAlWbAY!OHlVpL_6vsusinFzniu4_g And this captcha is shit, moot confirmed for faggot

I am fairly new to photography AND photoshop, so I am looking for critiques. Am I terrible, or would you pay $150 for a framed print? Have a great day!

Character Mark-Up

I need help. I have no artistic talent, but I'm writing a play (comedy) and I would love a sketch up of my characters. Maybe you could help! It's a comedy, so I'd love it if they were silly looking. Character List: John and Butch: Two cops, both young white males new on the job. Both fairly fit and good-looking, John has a black goatee and black hair while Butch has no facial hair and blond hair. Both have handguns and are ridiculously photogenic. Kelsey: A fantasy princess, blond and very beautiful, always wears a dress and has a innocent looking face. Very young (maybe 16) and kind of ditsy. Das King: A heavy set, Latino male with a full beard. Always has a staff and has a crazy/mad expression. Has a pompadour and a light beard, both solid black. Jessepe: A ridiculously skinny blond kid who is also a wizard. Has a robe like a Jedi and has a evil grin at all times. Main antagonist. Also has a very pale face and freckles. Thanks /ic/ You da real mvp!

What's your favorite brand of art pens. I like Staedtler Pigment Liners...I also have some Faber Castell PITT Art Pens. I also hear Sakura Microns are popular. I like Staedtler, though.

Are there shortcuts you can use to save a hell of a lot of time on CS6 to get your pictures to come out like this guys? I really wanna doubt Sakimichan is a good artist, and just uses photoshop to fix his shit, but I'm really starting to doubt it.

Anime/Manga/Cartooning Thread "Remember that most of the action in your figures must come from you as you feel it rather than from a model. A vital expression is more important here than accuracy." Previous Thread: >>1912631 A general message to aspiring artists: "Lack of knowledge can be greater torture than the effort of acquiring it. When all is said and done, nature is your best instructor." Submit your drawings, receive feedback or critique others! Share your knowledge and remember to thank those who've critiqued or red-lined your drawings. Most importantly, have fun. This thread is meant for artists who might want to try to make stylized work in-between their studies. It is strongly recommended that you use this thread in conjunction with learning the elements and fundamentals of art. You can also discuss the visual elements of various professional artists as well if you keep it relatively articulate and civil. >Fresh off the boat? Ok /ic/ I need advice. I'm working with a bunch of people doing a game, but the thing is the art is horribly done. I have to paint characters and instead of do variations in lighting and stuff like that they gave me a reference which is pretty shitty with dirty colors and stuff and I have to pain exactly the reference but it doesnt' matter that the character is moving it has to be exactly the same shit, The guy who draw the line arts and sketches draws awful, and I have to do miracles transforming his anime sketches in something semi realism alike. And the painting...gods sake the painting, they paint the characters who are white in shades of pink and brown and thats it. There is really no color variations to do the skin look a little bit better. My question is... Should I stay with them? is working with them going to look bad in my portfolio? Also, shitty job experiences thread. image not related.

dat feel when you realize, painting is so fucking irrelevant for being a concept artist. why didn't you warn me /ic/ ? fuck me and my obsession with painterly shit. god damnit i've wasted so much time on mastering* a skill so unrelated to my goals. no more painting for me. time to draw shit. all day erry day. * and by mastering i mean developing, not mastering.

is there anyone who knows something about art and could explain me why is this picture a "piece of art" .. something that has a huge value for some people ? .. Id really ( like FUCKING REALLY ) want to know if those people make some racional arguments to why it is so good or if it is just made up bullshit and they like it just cuz it is a painting from a famous author
