Hello, First time posting here, so I'm not sure if this is the right board for this.
In my one class, we're doing a nation simulation game, and the current world map looks like it's made on the back of a napkin. Functional but ugly and hard to read. I dabble in cartography, I've not taken any formal courses in it (Not till next semester) but I want to draw a detailed world map of the simulation for him, and get it printed at proper world map size.
When I'm drawing the image, should I set the canvas size to the actual size of the paper I want it printed on? Or can I scale it up. I've never printed anything, so I'm not sure if the horrid scaling up translates.
tl;dr tips for map making, in terms of printing?
Pic is a map I drew a while ago, not related to the one I'm making.
