So, i downloaded that big pack of "how to be a drawfag" books and i am starting with Fun with a pencil, but i have a question:
I know how to draw basic shapes in every angle without problems, but Loomis, in his book, starts making some faces with really detailed noses, eyes and stuff.
Am i supposed to know these? Or should i just make basic noses/eyes/etc?

This thread is dedicated to the drawing study of the gaunt human figure.
>Why gaunt figures?
The gaunt human figure, while very unlikely to ever to be encountered in life studies, is an extremely useful and oft-times overlooked. The gaunt figure shows some of the most important skin-to-bone relationships, and provides exaggerated points in which the bone pushes against the skin. It also provides skeletal structure study opportunities by showing bone structures covered with skin and muscle, why removing the construction obscurities that fat usually makes.
This thread will provide 3 gaunt female models. Participants are more than welcome to do all three, and are encouraged to add male models that their peers can use, since gaunt male models are difficult to find.

Hey /ic/. Some of you guys no doubt know Randis Albion, he's a nice guy and awesome artist, pic related. He's in the running for some Final Fantasy thing which if he wins, would mean he would go to Paris to meet the composer of the games, Nobou Uematsu.
This is mainly for any of you guys who haven't seen his posts on Facebook and such, if you could give him a hand that'd be great, he's such a nice guy.
