/fit/izen here, I hope I have come to the right place
I have had a really hard time with binge eating and shit but I have the feeling I am through with it now, especially because I kept focused on the quote in picture. This is why I want to honor this quote by having it permanently on my forearm, as a reminder of what straightens my back.
Now let's skip the part where I should be very sure about a tattoo, but I am very sure of this, as it won't ever lose meaning to me as long as I am a human.
My concern is, the design of it. I am not the guy for designs sadly. Of course I want it to look good.
I am also not yet sure about the language. I could not find yet the original greek quote. I do live in Europe as well, English is not my native language as it isn't of the people around me.
My question to you is, what font should I use?

I just want to be able to draw for hours, but lately most of the time I've just been searching for good photos to practice from.
I've searched the references in the OP but they're all guides and stuff.
Is there some place I can download tons of images of bodies, heads, hands, animals, objects, clothes, etc. all at once?
Thanks in advance.

So I was sketching out a tree in the park a few hours ago and I figured out that I can't into texture.
I won't bother scanning it, but it essentially looked like pic related; the tree trunk was just a gradient from light to dark, no texture on the tree bark at all.
I tried adding random lines but it just looked like. . well, random lines.
Any tips on the basic procedure of texture, links, tutorials, etc?
I didn't see anything that covered it in the sticky
Ref or without ?

Yo /ic/ wanted to know. I'm learning anatomy , values and colors , but I feel really guilty when I use refs for my 'original pieces' ( I use them to get an idea , lighting , etc ) So I'm really curious , do artists like kekai , bradney , etc use refs ? I know Luvisi does , but i heard that Dave Rapoza doesnt ( and imo his stuff's far better than Luvisi's ). And I think : wow how much more practice will I need to be able to draw ultra realistic stuff without refs. >_> making me depressed.
