I'm kind of in an awkward spot, and being the socially awkward over thinker I am, I need some kind of... I dunno... Input.
So, I've posted here a few times over the summer relating back to the same topic. I want to get an apprentaceship tattooing. At the part time job I currently have, there was a deli clerk that became some what friends with me. She knew a few shop owners around the city I live in, and when I told her/asked her if this certain shop needed an apprentace (I was interested because I was going to get a tattoo from them, and they had gone above and beyond what I was expecting (in terms of customer service), and got along with the people there, and just felt at home in this place) the deli clerk asked if I could do portraits. I said I had never done one, but I doubt I could. To which she replies that the artists at this shop were phenominal (which they are) and that they may feel as if I was wasting their time if I tried to get an apprentaceship there. She then pointed me out to another shop (to which I have never been to).
So, as I think I mentioned, I went to this shop (phenominal artist shop) to get one of two tattoos I want done. This was the first, and during, I had explained to my artist kind of what Had happened. He asked if I had any art on Facebook, which I didn't have at the time. Fastforward a few weeks, and I work more on my portfolio, (which I think is highly infeiror to the skills of these people) and make a facebook account so I can have some of my stuff on there, I don't have many friends. I then go and find this shop's page and like it, find my artist and like his page. A few hours or the next day, I can't recall, I notice he's friended me on Facebook. Naturally I accept. When he returned from his vacation, I messaged him, asking how it went, and hadn't mentioned the second design he had shown me before he left. He somewhat ignore my asking him how his travels went, meaning he didn't go into any great detail, and then...
