Can we have a progression thread? Good or bad, OC or deviantartists. I need some uplifting inspiration to get closer to the goods ones or further away from... this.

Requesting all drawfags, idealists. Im currently writing a show that will be filmed in the winter. (a month or two) Im looking for some people to help with the story writing/ concept drawing, and location scouting. If you're interested put an email in this thread and explain what you could contribute. Just what im looking for: -Someone to draw people/clothing -Someone to draw a landscape/Buildings etc -Someone to spot out locations -Someone who was creative in the way of clever story writing. The setting is, yeah generic post Apocalypse but its not a cookie cutter walking dead copy. It has nothing to do with zombies or anything else gay like that. I will email a draft of the first episode if you are interested.

Where do you guys like to get your traditional materials from? And what brands do you find the most reliable? I really want to start working on traditional artwork, but I don't want to waste expensive stuff on practice that I'm not going to be happy with in the end. I know marker brands like Copic are good (they're on sale at staples for like 15 bucks for a set of 72 i think) so I was thinking I might buy a couple colors of those and work on smaller things until I'm comfortable with moving up to larger stuff. Thanks /ic/
