I was wondering if anyone knew about this guy Nasubi from a Japanese game show called Denpa Shonen.
I'm using Reddit to try and find subtitled videos of the show, but have only seen 2 episodes pop up. What I'm now even more interested in is this piece of info from his wiki page: The entire ordeal lasted some 15 months, during which time the diaries on his experience being locked away from the outside world became a best seller in Japan.
Anyone here care to scour jp searches to find if there is a translated english version of this book that I can read?
If you don't know about the show, it's a reality based series and this one focusing on Nasubi. He was put in a small room with nothing but a few supplies to start entering contest. He would have to raise roughly $10k worth of prizes to leave the room. He has a telephone, radio, and tons of magazines and post cards. He has no connection with the outside world besides this. All I know if I found it somehow one weekend on Hulu and watched everything. It was the most entertaining thing I'd seen. Sadly it seems to be wiped off the earth since then.

Please keep in mind the following definitions:
>NEET: Not under Employment Education, or Training
>Tamaki Sait? defines hikikomori as "A state that has become a problem by the late twenties, that involves cooping oneself up in one’s own home and not participating in society for six months or longer, but that does not seem to have another psychological problem as its principal source.
As the ones who (probably) spend the most time on this board, how are you making it better?
Have you made any breakthroughs in taking it easy, lately?
