Alright, since the last thread got deleted from the spam flood let's try this again. Japanese architecture thread.

Starting off from where we left off, two Japanese mansion castles that are for sale and possible /jp/ homes, like we always dreamed.

They want nothing to do with forginers coming through illegially. Sounds like the previous owners were bad at planning since they went into renovations while still owing money to the bank. They probably chose the terrible land, because they had bad taste and business tactics.

It's not the land's fault though... it seems like they've just left it in it's natural dry-brush state, I've never really gotten into Japanese architecture or what not, are they just not big on landscape architecture beyond gardens?

It seems to me, judging by the way the "Front" of the hotel looks, that it wouldn't be hard to make the back something more than a hill of awful looking brown brush.

I want to tour Japanese gardens and small, mountain villages some day. Rural Japan looks so much prettier than the rural areas in midwestern US where I live (probably because everything here is perfectly flat). I like the idea of old temples tucked away in lush, green mountains. Sotoba village from Shiki is a perfect example of a kind of place I'd like to see. I'm not sure which parts are better for that, but IIRC an /a/ thread a few weeks ago, someone mentioned Shikoku.

I'm 26, independent, and underpaid, actually. Fearing that I'll never have enough disposable income to see the parts of the world. I'm really not a fan of most of what I've seen in the US. I suppose because I am enamored by old traditional buildings and biomes I am not familiar with. In the US, I've been around, but the country is less than 300 years old, there really isn't anything equivalent to a Sengoku-era temple with ancient bonsai or the like. Along these lines, I really want to visit the Black Forest and French Alpine regions of Europe, as well as some of the amazing geographic features of China.

Levels of Nivarna reaching to hevean. You'rr suppose to go through a set of prayers on each level. It started in China as a way of Indian Buhddism like in the Hindu Holy Mountian with 7 sides and seven levels of wherr the God's exist. I have a feeling most Buddists would be offended with me saying that it derives from hinduism even though its facts. Japan involves some other aspects of shintoism and the Empero as one of the 4 Divine Buddhas.

Well for one thing I asked the original poster "Do you have any more first hand nude pictures of Japanese women? If you do than please post them, because /jp/ is the only place where these things show up. Believe me, I've looked."

And than another anon responded to me saying "You're right, it's true. They don't exist anywhere else. Looking at real sluts is a whole lot better than those camera whores in JAV."

But then janny decided to delete the entire thread since the OC posted lewd pictures in a Japanese school girl thread. What is there more to say? The touches of an older woman has always buzzed in tips of my flesh. Growing up as a mere 1 years old all the way until 5 I was surrounded by a harem of older girls. They were the daughters of my baby sitter. They pored their affection into me. Junior high students, high school, and college was their occupations. To all of them I knew thought they belonged to me alone not as mere friends, but an odd combination of sisters who I was romantically in love with. Japan awaits for me and only but one reluctant middle aged woman there I know. May the "Gods" of fertility and sexuality bless me in my quest of passion with her.

It seems like it would be a massive pain to buy such a thing.

Unless you're someone devoted to historic preservation and plan on paying for all the upkeep and maintenance necessary.... It just doesn't look nice as a place to live in my personal opinion. If you have tons of money, buying something more like
>>11499658
a large, more normal house with a nice wide expanse of property seems like a better choice.

Huh, you replied to both of my posts. Anyway, the only way someone could really be comfortable in a castle or a house like the OP and my picture is if your entire extended family lived together. Everyone sharing the cost. My entended family is huge and we seldom get to be all together. An OP castle or a house like my picture would be ideal and somewhat of a dream come true for me in my personal look on our clan. Everyone would work their different jobs and have their own wing of the place.

So yes, you're right, its simply to big to live in alone. Lots of national heritage and true treasures within such a castle to simply live in it. Must be a pride thing to preserve it. Japan's government owns quite a bit, but there are too many out there for them to own and sink money into.

Reguardless I still really want a castle or castle styled home.

I'd really like to live in a smaller version of your pictured complex, or something like this picture (apologies for generic anime home) but with only one floor and without the extra building to the lower right.

I guess it's an edo style?
I can't really find any real examples of it, so part of me feels like it's mostly made up for the sake of /a/nimu

I think it's a regular soccer field where everyone can enter for a small fee, just like one of those indoor baseball places. The fact that they have so little terrain available to build new places that they have to put a field on top of a building is what I find interesting. Although it must be pretty bad doing exercise in the middle of an air polluted city.

Comment from original source:

>I lived in the house on the left in rural Japan. Rent was 35,000 yen ($290US) per month. Next to a typical Tokyo apartment, which goes for 111,000 yen ($900US) per month. It just blows my mind, and convinces me that I will never live in Tokyo.

Well obviously the one on the right isn't to the tatami scale, so we don't actually know how big it is.

I would expect the doors to be 900mm wide though.
