Going to the range, with someone who has PTSD?

So I've got a question for y'all...
My GF's older brother was in Afghanistan and his whole convoy got ambushed and rekt. All but like 3 people in his entire unit were killed, and he understandably came home with a few "issues", PTSD, heroin addiction, etc.
The thing is, hes a really nice guy and making an effort to get back on his feet.
My GF and I go to the range pretty regularly, and we've brought him along once, it wasnt really planned or anything, he just ended up with us, and everything was fine.
But to be honest, I'm a little nervous taking him with us. I'm not familiar with, nor do I really understand PTSD and I've heard mixed opinions on taking someone with the illness shooting.
We all know what happened to Chris Kyle, for instance.
I dont want to be next.
My one friend who was in the army says not only "no" but "FUCK no"
I found a thread on another site where folks said that some vets with PTSD find shooting extremely therapeutic.
I'm a little nervous, and like I said, I dont really understand the illness. Is there a chance someone will get murdered if he goes with us again, or should it always be all good in the hood like last time? Like I said, I enjoy his company and hes a nice guy.
What do, /k/?

>be innawoods hiking
>you are hundreds of miles from the manhunt so you don't think anything about it
>have guns on you, loaded as usual
>your truck is half a mile away with a full tank of gas, a few changeds of clothes, a couple hundred cash, and some more guns and basic survival supplies like food and water
>nightfall and you build a fire and enjoy some bud
>suddenly a friendly sounding voice hails you from the darkness
>the owner of the voice steps into the light
>he is not aggressive with you and surprisingly open to talk
>he is tired and lacking morale
What do you do /k/, what do you do?

Right, first thread here, lurker, inb4 whatever...
So I've noticed that there is quite a lot of nugget love on this board, and thusly [I'm hoping] a knowledge base.
I've recently acquired a '43 Yoshkar-Ola PU scope and am going to be mount it onto my not so rare '43 Tula Round 91/30. Yes not an original sniper, yes likely not up to spec, don't care.
The Question I have is what mounts are good that are available. Yes I'm well aware of the accumount PU mount, and unless a good viable alternative is brought up here it's like the one I will get.
Also if you happen to have a PU mount that doesn't suck for sale/trade post it.
[pic semi related, it's what I traded for the scope/make/sell]

LEOs actually getting it right thread? Based Vic Police officer nailing kebab with a single headshot even with a wounded arm.
>As the AFP officer and a Victoria Police colleague left the station and approached Haider, they noticed he had his hand in his jacket pocket.
>They asked him to remove his hand, and he did so — revealing a knife clasped in his fist.
>Haider then swiftly launched an attack on the Victoria Police officer, stabbing him in the arm.
>The officer fell backwards and Haider moved on to the AFP officer, stabbing him repeatedly in the head and chest.
>The Victoria Police officer commanded Haider to drop his weapon, but the frenzied attack continued, prompting the officer to shoot a single fatal round to the teenager’s head.
