I have a nugget that I got a few years ago. Picked it up because A. I like bolt action rifles, B. it was cheap, and C. ammo is cheap. Ordered a couple crates - the 880 round ones - off the internet and had a blast.
Well, I realized that I just opened the last tin in anticipation of a day at the range tomorrow (well, later today, technically) and that I should probably order more.
Is there a reason why everybody is sold out? Did I miss an import ban, or is this the usual "GUMMINT'S GUNNA STAEL MAH GUNS" lunacy causing runs on ammo supplies?
I'd gotten used to paying $0.20 per round, I'd rather not pay $0.66 per round. If it's just a short-term deal, then I'll wait on ordering more, but if it's a long-term problem I'll bite the bullet (heh) and pay more for locally manufactured stuff.
