You have to pay for everything (equipment, services, transportation) yourself and they charge boarding fees for where ever you stay. Your $33,000 starting 'salary' probably goes to zero once you're finished paying for stuff.
Boot camp is 3.5 months without any kind of entertainment allowed.
Men are required to bring face towels, hairpins and sports bras?
There is no fitness test for recruitment but if you don't meet the fitness threshold on arriving at bootcamp, they kick you out of the forces.
Is there any other stuff I should know?

Sparks cascading on the backstop as my bimetal jacketed bullets impacted. my poor shoulder hurts however from...hm, near 50 rounds downrange i think. the Mosin is a bugger to clean however, went through so many cleaning patches and i think its still a bit dirty
