I'm joining the army in january, and I was wondering, is it okay to take an enemy's weapon you find home with you? Is that considered not cool, or even against the rules?
Because if I found something bad-ass like a UMP, I dunno if I'd be able to keep from swiping it, I mean after all it doesn't cost anything and they wouldn't be using it anymore...
Pin unrelated, it's just my favorite carbine...
For the record, yes I am a FPS gamer, I know you hate my kind, but I have fired many real guns (am currently nogunz because poor), and was into real guns from an early age (from a hunting family) and had fired one long before touching a controller....But until the real thing, I play cowadoody...knowing it's not a great reality simulator...

Or maybe just "what is the best round for a semi automatic handgun to kill a human being in war or self defense"
I want to hear it from /k/ if they could get the nicest handgun on the market chambered in their ideal round, what would it be?
Would they go .45, 10mm, 9mm, .40?
I would really love to hear all your whys and why nots on the most ideal self defense round one could get, and this is if you had to choose one for perhaps apocalyptic type situations as your go to gun for killing things, this isnt about how available ammo is, just its pure killing power and use
sure you could shoot more rounds of 5.7 faster and more accurate than 10mm but would you need more than a single 10mm round to do the job?
lets see if we can have a real thread about this that doesnt degenerate into shit talking and whatnot
