Anybody know if there are jeans suitable for operatin'? I live in the desert, sweat a lot no matter what kind of physical activity and fell in love with BLM land for shooting, Was just wondering if there were jeans or jean type of pants that dont retain water like a camel and hold up to /out/ type of abuse. Havnt been able to find anything through google.

Did ten miles on the Art Loeb today
>quest 4D GTX still going strong
This was the deepest water I could find to test them in because it's sort of a ridgeline trail with not much in the way of standing water

You probably want a pair of lightweight raw denim jeans. Soft, light, but durable. Also they look great and only get better with age.

Gustin is pretty good for the price
https://www.weargustin.com/store/3317

Studio D Artisan is great but more expensive
http://scout.heddels.com/brands/studio-d-artisan/denim-jeans/studio-d-artisan-d1596-one-wash-raw-denim-jeans

Also Naked and Famous have some light weight stretch ones.

might be worth mentioning - Levi's sells a spandex imbued line of jeans. Unwittingly ended up with a pair, and while it holds water like a mafhk, they are comfy as fuck when on the move.

is it just me or did you consolidate your color schemes?

Consolidate like how?

Like try to have matching colors? Yes.

The hydration carrier kinda tickles my 'tisim by being FG instead of RG, but that's what was in stock, so that's what I bought.

RRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Also, a I was talking to a fellow soldier today. I was talking about how I only had 4 guns. He asked me why I needed, 4 guns, what I was going to do with 4 guns.
>in the infantry
>why do you NEED guns
I am so full of anger, hate, rage, disgust, competent, and few other synonyms that I can't think of because my English no good.

Does anyone have pictures of ranger green gear over flecktarn? I can't find much of that elsewhere.

Ranger green is way more grey than people give it credit for. But do you know color theory? Colors change based on colors around it. For example, This is ranger green.

This is also ranger green. Rg isnt as versatile as coyote brown, but it'll work.

Hm thanks. Looks like a ranger green plate carrier/pouches would work decently over flecktarn... I've never seen a flecktarn PC/pouches.

I personally think it works best in contrast. It'll look baller as fuck on top of
Multicam
UCP
Marpat desert
Tropoentafartin neonazi desert camo
And coyote brown/tan solid tops.

Nah, that exists even in active duty. You have both extremes in the infantry. Knew one guy who would build ARs for fun, had a Barret 50. Cal, and a fuckton of other guns and ammo. In that same platoon we had a guy who had zero guns and no real intention of getting any.

Hell, I didn't get my first gun until after I got out of the service.

Let's just hope these people become enlightened

I would base the clothing around the pc. Unless you're squid, the plate carrier probably cost more than your clothes.

I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Priority 1 is carry gear, priority 2 is protecting your vitals. Correct color pairing is a little far down the list.
