What do you think is the "best" book about the Internet?
I nominate pic related, it's the only one that's actually well researched (by a guy in his 70s, no less!). There's a lot of typical Pynchon weirdness and it's all broken with three layers of irony, but I think it's one of the few things that captures how the Internet's culture works.
Other contenders could be:
Stephenson's REAMDE, even though in the middle it becomes a "standard" novel with terrorists and whatnot
Gibson's Neuromancer: IMHO overtaken by reality, hasn't aged well at all
Ready Player One: Man-childish as hell, more about 80s culture than anything else
