Hi, /lit/. I've lost my virginity, but I'm feeling really bad about it and I don't even know why. What are some books (fiction or non fiction) that deal with this kind of remorse in males? I suppose it is more common among women, right? Don't bully me pls

So here is a guy talking about complaining: https://youtu.be/wH5SEpVy2l4 You don't even have to watch it. I want to know what /lit thinks about complaining and maybe what you think is wrong with what he said about it. (Pic unrelated? Idc)(This was made purely for entertainment purposes)

Post a Simpsons quote or scene and everyone has to try and guess the novel they are referencing.

Daily reminder that Parmenides was right about everything all along. 2000+ years of Western civilization have ended in futile attempts at avoiding the fact that all other opinions are inevitably wrong. Your time would be better spent fapping than attempting to justify your delusions.

What is academic response to zizek? I ask because I just watched all of his films, and I am in complete awe. he introduced a completely new and overwhelming world to me. but i'm not that well read in philosophy but i have enough awareness to consider that I may be a huge pleb, so I'm wondering if zizek could be like the michio kaku (a popularizer of physics but not a giant in the field in his own right) of philosophy, distilling centuries of work into a sensational 'popular' view to amaze plebs like me.

What is /lit/s opinion on moral relativism? Is it incoherent as Chomsky claims? Are there any books about the matter that influenced your opinion you'd like to share with me?

Stop quoting and regurgitating ideas you read about. Tell me your own philosophical belief, if you have ever formed one of your own. I believe nothing can be known based on the present fact that existence is a paradox

Is it true that Stirner never used the word "ego"? that it's just a misinterpretation on behalf of his english translators?

What does /lit/ think about psychadellics, the counter-culture and the literature that goes with it? What opinions you have on some of the figures who propagate/propagated the use of LSD (e.g. McKenna, Leary, Ginsberg,..). Would Nietzsche drop acid, if he was born a century later than he was?

anon from /mu/ and /fa/ here i have reached patrician status in all my interests. i love arthouse films, techno interests me and i wear nice clothes. i shoot film photography, i make weird ambient music and i'm obsessed with twin peaks. i've read a few books but i've never really enjoyed it enough to make it a habit. i like "conscious" rappers like milo, yoni wolf, etc who incorporate spoken word into their music. but still, i don't really know where to go from here. what are the meme books? meme poetry? things that are fool proof for someone who has an undeveloped taste in literature >please no "lurk more" thx
