How do you counter antinatalism? The idea that it's better to have never existed and that humans shouldn't procreate. >If you could edit your past, what would you change? >My birth. I agree with Sophocles: the greatest luck is not to have been born - but, as the joke goes on, very few people succeed in it. - Zizek

I'm just starting to prepare to test in October, and I can't find pic related book anywhere. so, on a semi related note, where do you, personally, download textbooks? Thanks everyone, and good luck to anyone that's taking it in June!

How hardcore are you about your writing? >Our school this “Stone Tablet Policy” which basically says that there is no excuse for not turning in your assignments and that you must turn them in even if you have to carve it into a stone tablet. >So this kid carved his 8 page essay into $70 worth of limestone.

What do you guys think of Epicurus? I really like his ideas and mostly pragmatic approach to life/existence. Are there other similar philosophers whose works you'd recommend?

My girlfriend has been bothering me to read this for the past 5 months (i'm serious). I've started it before and never got past the second chapter/story. I started reading it again today and again, stopped; I got farther than before though. I'm just so burnt out on this topic. Is are there any really good bits to this or is it all this generic zombie shit? It's not written that well either.

Hello, /lit/ I am trying to learn Chinese here. The best way I could think of (to start) is by reading some books. So after a bit of research I decided to pick up "Learning Chinese Characters" by Tuttle. However, my university doesn't allow me to borrow it. Do you guys recommend any website where I might find this book to download? You must know your away around downloading e-books. I can't torrent here unfortunately. tl;dr: Anyone could help me with finding a direct download link for "Learning Chinese Characters" by Tuttle?

Hi /lit/ This is your daily reminder that dementia breeds dementia. If you absorb what this nutcase wrote as a therapy to avoid going cuckoo for cocoa puffs before he actually did, your brain will turn into pulp. If you see all the other kids embracing the syphilitic as the new shit, remember truth and quality are not a matter of majorities. Just check Justin Bieber's record sales or Da Vinci's Code position in the best seller list. And remember, my little ones, moral absolutes are not only existent but they're also desirable. That is all for today.
