Okay hi, /lit/. I've never been on this board before and I'm pretty sure I'm illiterate so forgive me for the faggotry I'm about to ask. Anyway, I'm taking a CW GE and we have to write something ~post-modern~. I'm having trouble distinguishing modern and post-modern. Apparently the thing about it is modernism presents loyalty to history; post-modernism, alterity. Given this, is alterity alterity from our universe, or the universe within the story? And how does one write something distinctly post-modern?

Has anyone on /lit/ ever self-published on Amazon? Went on the kindle store today on a whim, and all I saw were 50 shades wannabes. I swear to God, what Rowling did for YA books, James did for erotica.
So, given that even the shittiest of /lit/'s writing is better than that, does anyone feel like sharing their self-published work? Personally, I'm just looking for something new to read, free or not.
