Does anyone know where I can download this novel: The Thran? Written by J. Robert King and is a prequel to the Brother's War. I've been looking for a while now and have found nothing...

Hey, /lit/. I've got a question. What should I read in order to get into Saint Thomas Aquinus? In what order should I read his works? Thanks in advance!

So what did we think of it? Definitely readable enough that I'd recommend it to be worth at least a fair attempt but nothing really happened. It's a book about the development of the railway, and shit that's pretty much all that happens with only very minor hitches. Too reliant on prior knowledge too, I thought. It had fucking *everyone* in it. And can someone explain to me what the golems actually did with the bridge? I didn't get what actually happened. Bit of an anticlimax though given how much it was alluded to prior.

Will anyone from /lit/ ever have a novel published? Or is such a thing impossible? And if so, are we all going to buy a copy to support our fellow /lit/izen? Given that they come forth and actually tell us that they've written it. Considering the reputation of 4chan, that may be unlikely... Correct me if we've already had an anon publish something.

Post some edgy poets. On the Creation of Niggers When long ago, the Gods created the Earth, In Jove's fair image Man was shap'd at birth. The beasts for lesser parts were next design'd; Yet were they too remote from humankind. To fill this gap, and join the rest to man, Th' Olympian host conceiv'd a clever plan. A beast they wrought, in semi-human figure, Fill'd it with vice, and call'd the thing a NIGGER. H. P. Lovecraft

Finally read Ender's Game. What utter shit. Not that I should have expected different from a book for 12 year olds, but still.

Pleb here. Recently, i realised that i'm still not completely sure about what "Existentialism" fully means, though i use the word sometimes to describe something, and i think many people uses it without really knowing what it means exactly. Haven't read that much on the topic though, just some Kafka, Dostoievsky, and Camus. Is "Existentialism is a humanism" by Sartre, a good starting point to understand better the existentialist philosophy? You can recommend me other books, too.

Hey /lit/ I just finished reading Fear and Trembling, and I couldn't exactly understand the whole "knight of infinite resignation" thing. Care to explain? Does Kierkegaard (Silentio) actually advocate for people to become such "knights" ?

I know people shit on this guy because of Norwegian Wood, but this book here is the most bizarre and incomprehensible book I think I've ever read. Gravity's Rainbow was a cakewalk for me compared to this. Do you just have to be Japanese to get it, or what?
