Are philosophers to normal people what skeptics are to philosophers?

From what I've seen, usually people rule out certain considerations and just ignore those who preach them. Thus, if one is at a party and starts talking about philosophy one gets a smile at best and will be avoided, and if one is among philosophers and starts doubting everything the same attitude is found...

So, will there always be the need for unfounded collective assumptions in order to be able to communicate and interact?

I guess you could say that. The most delicious thing is to go full sceptic among philosophically minded, running their train of thought into an impasse within seconds so that they don't get to flaunt their vain theories without looking silly.

If you are at a party, you'll be talking about bitches, not philosophy. If you are talking about philosophy with me at a party, I'll show you a variety of not giving a damn.

That's not philosophy.

Doubt is not the same as "oh yeah? then prove it, faggot! lol, you can't. You can't know that. What does that mean? Lol meaningless". True doubt is the act of a student who doesn't know. Doubt is not aimed at others, it is always aimed at yourself. You don't know and you doubt yourself and you search for an answer. Others might help you find out, but the job of working with that doubt is yours and others have no obligation to respond. When we talk of our doubts, the other might or might not take this doubt for himself. You read a guy's work and say, genuinely, "but what is this?" and the other guy might say "oh well, I never thought about that really..." and thus you spread the doubt to him. But if you say "what is this?" and the guy explains, but you still don't see a meaning to it, then the guy doesn't have to explain harder, you are probably the one who have to work harder.

>will there always be the need for unfounded collective assumptions in order to be able to communicate and interact?
I don't see how that is related. All communication happends because of "assumptions". Yes.
