I'm in one of the better e-book private trackers. If you've been looking for a book I'll see if they have it and upload it. Include what format you want.

Hey, cool. I didn't really search for it... But since you're offering, I'd like A Song of Ice and Fire, the 5 books that have been released so far. .mobi is best.
I'd never buy it. But if I can get it for free, I'll give it a try.

I'd just like to report that it's funny to see someone struggling to find a copy of Guimarães Rosa. It's pretty standard reading in Brazil, available in every bookshop you go. The library at my University has the book in many different languages.
If you have access to a university with a Latin American/Portuguese literature chair, their library will probably have the book.

I was amused, that's all. I thought writers like Guimaraes Rosa and Machado de Assis were not hard to come by in other countries since I have no difficulty finding a copy of Dickens or Fitzgerald in portuguese.
American/British canonical works are easy to find here but other countries' are not. I think this tells a lot about how the world is organized.

No. There's only one set in all the library systems in the world, basically. That's not too bad though. A couple of months when I tried to dig up a copy of Pope Leo III's Crossed Keys I only found one copy in English and apparently someone had mutilated it. Learning latin is now on my to do list.
