>What Genre sells more/attracts the most people at first sight: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (or both equally?)

>Would you rather have something labeled as Auto-biographical Fiction, Fiction, or....?

>I've asked Legal experts but I'd like to ask avid readers as well: Does names of individuals matter to you or not? I was thinking of leaving in the first names as well as obviously describing how they actually look. All while starting the book off saying "all names/real life comparisons are merely coincidental/not real/etc etc BS" like what other books do.

I've been thinking of writing a book (about my life, mostly early childhood from what I can outline right now atm) for a long time now; and am probably thinking of starting to write soon sometime after University. It's not going to be your run of the mill boring "my life" story type of book; considering its interesting (biased) enough. Think of the show of Hey Arnold and any good book that does a good job in story telling. Kinda like that

I was also toying with the idea whether or not I should find an animation studio and give my pitch to them; whether or not I actually write a book.

If it doesn't have a teenage vampire and/or a kinky billionaire, then I'm not interested... But seriously:

>What Genre sells more/attracts the most people at first sight?

Whichever one has the most marketing behind it. If your novel is brilliant, but you can't get an agent or publishing house to pick it up, then nobody will by it apart from a few people who download the ebook from Amazon.
