What up, /m/en and wo/m/en. Just another hopeful game developer here, coming in with CHRISTMAS GIFTS for you all.
Avatar Combat is tabletop game developed for IRC roleplaying, based around a futuristic transhuman setting, the Lusitania Backlands: a densely packed region of space filled with stars and other spatial phenomena; but the true point of the setting is it's namesake: Avatars, enormous warmachines, powered by exotic technology, and piloted by mercenaries called Jagunco.
So far, the rules are done for making characters and Avatars themselves, as well as for gaining experience. We have an IRC channel setup, two actually: The main channel on irc.aniverse.com #Avatar_Combat, and a backup channel on suptg #Avatar_Combat .
Since the rules are finished, I'm going to be running a playtest campaign sometime soon.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Real&Organoid vs Toku&Supers

In Cardfight!! Vanguard, there are two clans:
Nova Grapplers (top)
Dimension Police (bottom)
The Novas have an aesthetic of mostly aliens, Reals, and some Organoids (not pictured). The Police have an aesthetic featuring mostly Tokusatsu and Supers/Braves. Most of the English playerbase has flocked to the Police over the Novas, for reasons unknown.
I'd like to get /m/'s take. Is it common to see people who are more interested in Supers than Reals? Toku than Organoids (think King Gainer-ish)? Is there a general consensus, or have Supers-fans just happened to find this one card game at about a 2:1 ratio to Reals fans?
