An orphaned and lonely teenager finds a robot behind his school in Tokyo, where he has fled to avoid the daily bullying from his peers. As he weeps, he is absorbed into the cockpit through a strange ghostlike blur, in which he travels down a bright corridor. Agents in black sunglasses watching this from a hill radio to base that the "Primary Gehena has made contact with Trichotomy." Cut to a shadowy figure smiling in a massive chamber surrounded by the hologram faces of figures from history like Ghandi, Abraham Lincoln and Nostradamus. He comments that finally, the Redaction Criticism event can be enacted. Beside him, an ancient Roman Soldier nods and a baby cries.
The teenager is brought to Tokyo's Gnosis branch by the agents, where he meets a smilar age girl who appears normal but is later revealed to be Opus Dei to the Neshoma of Logos, as predicted in the The Rule of the Blessing which the shadowy figure (in fact the headmaster of the main character's school) has discovered in Nostradamus' "Hexateuch Sacraments" which were excavated from Cave 1 at Qumran in the 1950s. He now manipulates the main character and the girl, from his secret location of Diaspora Apocrypha (a cavernous subterranean church built atop an ancient pagan sacrificial stonehenge), into fighting a series of "invading" alien robots which he himself has actually cloned and unleased on purpose to further the Redaction Criticism event alongside his assistant Agape the Roman soldier, who he also found preserved at the cave. The headmaster has also orchestrated the main character's daily bullying and emotional traumas as well as killing both parents to orphan him, all to make him a perfect pawn and fully malleable to his plans as a kind father figure.
