What would /m/ put into a new Ace Combat, storyline aside?
I'd let the stealth of planes actually do something; it'd be another stat in the hangar, too. So if you deploy in, say, an F-22, you can get closer to enemy planes before they aggro. And as a result, you can use a SAAM or XLAA to engage in BVR combat and snipe them off.
Also, the plane tree from AC5 would return, but trees with only one member would have multiple weapons to choose from, such as the F117. The Chengdu J-20 would be an extension of the MiG 1.44's line, too.
EMCPs would last longer as well as having more available uses. I think they're quite underpowered in AC5/ACZ. FAEB could be nerfed, too. XMAA could have 1.5 more uses than XLAA to balance them out, or XMAA could target six enemies while XLAA still can only get four. RCL would have a larger blast radius per rocket. And as a side note, is there any advantage to using the SAAM? If not, what would you do to buff it?

Am I the only one who thinks older designers like Okawara were much better than the hacks we get these days? Back in the day, we used to have great, original designs that were unique. Now, it's all lazy, copypasting or just rehashing. Even Katoki, who used to be great, suffers this now.
I guess this is part of how new anime has gone down to: not even the mecha designs are spared from these days shittiness.

I'm bored and can't sleep!
So how about we play a game?
By which, we make a game!
For anyone not interested in reading the image, I'll be making a visual novel.
I can create and write it, and you guys make the assets that I'll use in the game!
It doesn't matter to me if you can't do anything well. Just throw me anything you've got. I won't mind!
So you don't feel this is too entirely one sided, I'll let you guys pick the setting and flesh out the details behind it. More in the next post!
