>They tried asking Nagasaki to come back, but he had already moved on to another show.

>Scriptwriter Kuroda is busy thinking up a wide variety of new characters.

>They're trying to explore more of the Gunpla side. Those who love building, those who love battling, those who love the 'military' aspect.

>Fans of SD Gundam should look forward to episode 4.

>Since there wasn't much pressure on the first season to succeed, the staff had a lot of freedom to do what they wanted.

>They greenlit the sequel towards the end of last year. The good reception of episodes 15 and 18 really helped.

>They were given permission to use G-Reco units, but it's difficult to implement. So they'll likely end up as models in the background.

Okay. Now THAT is amusing. Either way, given the focus on melee combat, it works.

Well I can answer that for you.

GBF is going to use pretty much the same team from s1. A few people have moved over to GReco, but nothing is stopping them from working on both shows.

GReco is inheriting a lot of staff from Gundam Unicorn. Several character and mecha animators are already confirmed working on the show.

All in all Sunrise have a lot of staff members and the studio itself is split into 10 or so sub studios, so there shouldn't be much of an issue.

They should have kept going with Plavsky Gate shenanigans instead of introducing RG, the only fight where they did anything with that gimmick was vs Dark Matter.

The cameos themselves should have been notice enough. Hell, the entire tone of the show was clearly the result of Bandai/Sunrise struggling with how to bring in new fans (whom are very necessary to keep the business going) without alienating oldfags (who buy their gunpla and are thus the most important fanbase to please) ever since 1994, with varying on-and-off success, and after the AGE debacle, you could clearly sense Bandai/Sunrise was going, "Ah, fuck it. Obari, here's a huge amount of money. Go make robots punch other robots."

That would take some heavy cooperation between the different networks and staff of the two shows. I get the feeling why G-Reco's network even allowed MS appearances in BF is because it's basically free advertising of the models for them (Which is I remember right they get a portion of the profit from while the contract is still active).

I think expecting episode spoilers or more cross promotion than that is expecting too much.
