Hello /mu/. I have 17 shares for you. They're all in the vein of field recordings, drone, warm ambient, cold ambient, sound experimentation, and 1 or 2 lowercase releases. I think they're all interesting and share-worthy releases.

They never recorded Jenny Death. It doesn't exist. They planned this before they recorded NOTM.
>Hey lets fuck our fans over by promising an album and not delivering on that promise.
They had to make it believable though, so they did a double album. Promising part 2 would come out later this year so that no one would have any reason to believe it wouldnt.
Fastforward a couple of months and they drop the lead single "Inanimate Sensation" which only diminished any arising suspicions that the album didn't exist. As soon as the track came out we all felt ensured that Jenny Death would come out. Little did you know that they were basically telling us to "fuck off". Why would they do that you ask? Look at the way some people reacted when they didn't get Jenny Death last night. Betrayed, angered, disappointed, hatred... This is the most childish response any fanbase can have, ESPECIALLY to a band who's put out the majority of their material for free. You all have an inanimate obsession with this band. No one wants to have a serious discussion about the band or what each individual track could potentially mean. Instead they spout the most meme-y one-liners and hooks over and over again turning it into an inside joke. Most of you don't even consider Ride's lyrics to be as important as the instrumentals. You just want to be fucked, you dont want to be touched. I will admit that I was one of those people. It's too late now. Re-listen to inanimate sensation:
>no relation, close liaison
>no conversation, no social contagion
>bother me comrade, wanna be intrusive
The entire second verse is about an interaction with one of his "fans". The entire third verse is making fun of the way his fans behave on a day to day basis. I bet you didn't even realize the extent of how big of a diss this is to all of us. You know why? Because you were too busy flipping out over the videos inanimate visual fuckery to care.
