Honestly, I'm sick and tired of Redditors and meme-spewers bashing the Eagles because le ebin Big Lebowski told them to. The truth is...hear this guys...hear this.....
THE EAGLES AREN'T THAT BAD. Everybody talks about them like they're abysmal and unlistenable and shit, and THEY'RE NOT. They're a simple, inoffensive soft rock band who are nothing special, overrated by middle-aged women and pretentious "le wrong generation"/"classic rawk" teens a bit, and THAT'S THAT.
Hell, I like some of their songs. "Hotel California" actually is kinda intense. Like, when I was younger and listening to that song on classic rock radio, I thought "This is some haunting shit". The hook is annoying, but still. "Tequila Sunrise" is a nice country ballad with a good melody, too.
Sure, saying that Hotel California is one of the greatest albums of all time is like saying Chester Arthur is one of the greatest presidents. He didn't stand out, but was he that offensive?
THE. EAGLES. ARE. NOT. THAT. BAD

LP selling advice needed.
hi there, so i have a Bathory - Bathory LP, yellow goat first pressing with insert, etc etc (yes, im sure its not a reissue, picture is not mine, havent taken pictures of it).
thing is, i dont really care about collecting records anymore, so im thinking about selling it. after googlin ive seen it go from 500 to 2000usd...
the question is.. should i sell it now that vinyl is in its revival days, or should i keep it for more years and sell it later... will it go up? or not really, what do you people think?
also, is ebay the best selling method? to get the most out of it... thanks people, cheers
