How can I produce like Death Grips? Or just Flatlander, I guess.
Specifically the Money Store. I love those grinding synths and the way they sample, but there's also just this cold, almost metallic atmosphere that I get from it. I'm not sure what it is exactly that gives it that but it's what really makes the album special for me.
So yeah, I don't want to try and totally copy DG or anything in my production, but I want to mess around and see if I can incorporate a little of their techniques into my stuff.
