What is a good Functional Threshold Power? What is your FTP, /n/?
I'm an 18 year old male in good health. I haven't ridden really since the summer, when I rode 10 miles a day on average. I hadn't really ridden in about 6 months, until a few weeks ago.
Is 235 watts for 20 minutes or 195 watts over 70 minutes (stationary bike) including warm up considered good for someone who isn't really in great shape? Do I have any talent for cycling, or am I average or below average? I'd like to try racing but if I have don't have much potential then I probably won't.
