Is there a "go to" tube brand for road cyclists out there?
I've been dealing with a string of bad luck with complete flats, slow leaks, new tubes with holes in them and all of that good stuff.
I'm pretty confident in my ability to remove and install tubes now, and I can do them tool free so I'm pretty sure it's not me. I will admit, I just buy whatever tubes the LBS has, and a lot of the times they are unbranded or brands I've never heard of.
Is there a tube brand you swear by? I know a good tire would help too, but I want to wear out my current pair before spending a bunch of Michelin Pro 4's.

I have two classes ten minutes apart from one another on opposite ends of my college campus. Since it's a twenty minute walk, there's no way that will work.
I've considered a bike but they get stolen very frequently here, and I'd like something I could bring inside with me (in case of rain/theft). To that end, I'm considering an electric scooter.
Does /n/ have any "this-is-the-one" recommendations for electric scooters? Criteria would be lightweight, easy to carry, and fairly inexpensive. Being waterproof is a plus (not sure if all scooters already are.) Doesn't need to have a seat, hold a lot of charge (will be used maybe once or twice a week), or be particularly powerful (the second class is downhill from the first). Budget would ideally be in the hundreds of dollars.
Would one of those little Razor electric scooters work, or are there more/better options?
