I'm looking to get into mountain biking and I am wondering what y'all think of these bikes. I know I'll have to be careful scoping things out as aluminum mountain bikes from the 90's can be pretty worn out, but they all seem to be in great shape.
What do you guys think?

We in /sci/ have formed a team of 15 to tackle the Hyperloop Student Competition to design a pod and if we're selected to, build one.
In case you don't know, Hyperloop is Elon Musk's design of low pressure tubes that will have pods travelling in supersonic speed between LA and SF.
Currently we have set our core team and recruiting specific skills to cap the roster: Aerodynamics, Controls (Microprocessor based embedded), Compressors, and mechE help.
