New /bqg/ Old one is at: >>996461 Opening with.. Any good resources for adjusting bb7s? I was descending from a mountain the other day and at one point, I found I was decelerating on the descent. Didn't know what to do about them so I just kind of worked the brake and stuff until shit stopped being shit but it's probably in need of tuning.

Why can't bicycles lean

is it entirely down to tyres? geometry? what would you have to do to make a downhill bike that can lean well?

Let's list all the pros and cons of different modes of transpotation

I'll start: WALKING/RUNNING: Pro >It's (almost) entirely free. No special equipment besides shoes or sandals. >No special training required. Anybody can do it, as long as you're not disabled or a fucking lardass. >Helps you get fit and stay fit. Con >You'll being going slow as fuck. >Weather can be a bitch. >Transporting anything more than a backpack worth of stuff is a hassle. BICYCLES (AND RELATED VEHICLES): Pro >Very energy efficient. >Helps you get fit and stay fit. >Almost certainly faster than walking. >Leaning is easy. >Requires no licence. >Can carry a moderate amount of stuff, with modifications. Con >Can be expensive compared to walking. >Weather can be a bitch. >Bike thief is common and easy, but is often not taken seriously by the police. >Either you will be putting your life on line by riding on the streets with 4,079 pound death machines or keep to your little cycle paths. Which can often be rare, especially in Get-shot-sylvania. PRIVATE AUTOMOBILES: Pro >You can go really, really fast. >Unlike walking or cycling, you have some protection against the elements. >Large carrying capacity compared to most other modes of transit. Con: >Is VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE, compared to walking or cycling. >Needs special training. >Requires license. >They are about as effective in killing people as guns. >Need gas to power them, which produces toxic gases afterwords. >Traffic jams can negate speed gains, produce rage. >Can turn you into a fat-ass. MOTORCYCLES AND SCOOTERS: Pro >You can go really, really fast, but without the auto's cage. Those are for pussies afraid of death. Con >If you crash, you will die. This is why they called "donercycles" by ER doctors.

Hello. Any MTBcyclists here ? I am looking for my first proper mountain bike after doing my time with Nishiki hardtail, which is a great bike honstly, but I want and need more. The problem is that I really have 0 knowledge about the bike parts and part makers and their quality and this is why I've come here to try my luck. The thing is that I really fancy a DH bike, but the bike should be fit enough for enduro type cruising in the woods on trails and completely off-road. DH bikes tend to be too heavy and the suspension too "wiggly" for that purpose, I hear. If there is anyone who did DH, FR or enduro I would love to hear your opinion on the matter. >pick related its the bike I have my eyes on right now. would be 1500€, used but good conidition. I post the part list below.

Jersey designs are made and approved, just waiting on a color sample to approve the coloring. Webstore should be open within the next week or so, maybe sooner. Order period will be short so don't miss it. If you want a jersey, email njersey AT hush DOT com to be added to the email list.

so the back wheel on my road bike went flat overnight so I took it to the store. instead of telling me why it went flat they wanted $12.50 for the service. I said fine. Then he sold me on a new tire, I said fine. Just went for a nice long ride today and when I was still 20km from home I got a pinch flat...god damn bike store wants to charge me another $12.50 AND pay for the tube. That was a $60 purchase this morning and I had to take a cab back for another $20. is there anything i can say or do? (other than do all my own work from now on)
