Post questions about buying bikes here. I'll start. Got a Boardman Road Sport with Claris as a Winter/Commuting/Take Away To Work Away With In Back Of Truck bike recently. Been in denial but its a size too big for me. Its in good condition I reckon I can get £200 for it second hand. Was looking for a replacement of a similar cheap Claris/Sora second hand bike around the same cost. A guy I know is selling his Spesh Diverge A1 with Claris, good condition in my size, for £275. I've not really ever thought about the whole adventure bike/gravelbro thing before but it looks versatile and it isnt any heavier than the Boardman which is managable. Also, I often work away in places with bad roads. Should I do it, if I can sell my bike?

Anybody else always get blind sided by these fuckers? So huge and so quiet. The wake is enough to pull you into the road if you don't hear them coming and you never do!

Hello guys, I've wanted to buy a (good, quiet) trainer and get some recommendations for a (budget) bicycle that would work well on a trainer. I'd like to surprise my wife with a setup in our television room, and I'm hoping to stay under $500. I was thinking either Cyclops Fluid2 or Kinetic Roadmachine 2, but only because they have the best reviews on Amazon and they're quiet enough that we could enjoy a movie while exercising. Could I get a bike for under $200 that would perform well on this setup? Thank you for input!

I have a friend who's a pilot. We were going to go somewhere in his car yesterday and for absolutely no reason he waited a half hour before he pulled out of the driveway.

sup /n/ so I learned that mini-velos exist. How hard could it be grabbing a BMX frame, weld some extensions, get some 20" folding bike wheels and changing the seatpost? is it a viable way to have a compact non foldable bike that runs decent? Or will it be better to grab a road bike frame and mod it to fit 20" wheels.

Hi /n/ its me, trainguy. I'm currently on holiday in Tasmania. This place sucks. There are no trains or trams. At all. Just buses. Outside of Hobart there are only extremely infrequent coaches. And in Hobart its Saturday so half the buses aren't running and the rest are hourly. That's if you can figure out the route maps. And getting here was a nightmare. First the plane was delayed an hour and 40 minutes, we left when we were supposed to arrive! Then waiting another half hour for luggage. Not to mention getting to and from the airports. How the fuck can Americans say this sort thing for a mere regional flight is better than catching a high speed train?!
