Alright turds, I'm cannibalizing my hardtail 29er to build a FS 26. I've never into wheel building, but I figure i'd give it a shot this time around. Is UST really all it's cracked up to be? As far as being able to fix a flat on-trail, is it practical? Also, poor collegefag, so am I going to burn up serious $ trying to make this system work?

Okay, I got sent here from /out/
I live innawoods and I need a good mountain bike.
The things is, the only brands available to me are: next, mongoose, huffy, onex, avalon, and roadmaster.
Which of those is the least shitty?
