Moving goods over long distances

7 more posts in this thread. [Missing image file: shipping_main_image.jpg]
Heyo! first time poster, visiting from /out/, /k/, and /pol/. How would I go about transporting goods over long distances? I'm talking a dozen triwall boxes across 2400 klicks over land periodically. I'd be Shipping large amounts of small boxes (I.E. Client's orders) out, too. this would be for a business idea. Any help? ideas?

Some faggot new york cop gave a bicyclist a ticket for not riding in the bike lane. And another faggot new york cop gave a bicyclist a $550 ticket for going through a red light AFTER STOPPING http://www.minds.com/blog/view/231844919164014592/guy-gets-ticketed-for-not-riding-in-bike-lane-makes-video-of-himself-smashing-into-things-in-bike-lanes What the fuck

http://bmx.transworld.net/1000182768/features/video-texas-toast-haro-best-trick-highest-air-challenge/ In this “mini” event, Haro invited all old dudes, 35 and older, to come get buck on the quarter they built. And seriously, they came through. I hope a fraction of the vibe of this event comes through this video, because it truly was awesome. Names like Leigh Ramsdell, Kevin Gutierrez, Troy McMurray, Eben Krackau, Fids, Pat Millar all made for the best event thus far. If today was a warmup day at Toast, then I can’t wait for tomorrow and Sunday. Oh, and sorry about the audio levels in the video…it was getting wild and I should have turned some knobs down, but I was just trying to survive, haha.

Do you guys have a setline of transport etiquette on trains and buses, etc. Is talking on the phone bad? Is talking to your friends bad? Is listening or singing along to music bad? Is not offering your seat to an older person, pregnant woman, or a woman with a stroller bad? Is looking at someone in the eyes bad? Is talking to strangers bad? Is being part of a loud group of people that drank, going to a party and what not bad? Is talking to the whole group of people on the bus bad? Is seating on the first seat when the window seat is empty bad, what if no one sits next to you ever?

hi /n/ hopefully this thread isn't unwelcome. I live in So. Cal...the north OC; furthest part of LA County area. I bicycle whereever I can, or get a ride/use public transit. I saw this today, and it looks cool. Can you tell me its name/more about it? would that sort of bike be a superior alternative to me pedaling? Is it safe?

Hi /n/. I'm looking for a flat, thin bike rack bag to transport my laptop in. There is a surprisingly low amount of those available, at least here in Yurop. Everything is huge bulky touring stuff. I know many people prefer to carry laptops in messenger bags as hard disks don't like vibrations, but I have an SSD plus it's a company computer, so IDGAF. Recommendations? Doesn't have to be 100% waterproof, I'm only going to carry it occasionally and I can always wrap it in a plastic bag.

Im looking for a front and rear rechargeable light that I can throw on my bike to ride at night. Ive landed on the Cat Eye Rapid 1. Does anyone have opinions or suggestions for throw on lights? Trying to keep it cheap.

Hey /n/. So I had my perfect bike, a black single speed Schwinn hybrid. It may not be your idea of perfect, but it was perfect for me and I had it since highschool. Then some faggot stole it at the bart. I have no idea where to get a new one quite like it, especially since I am now in college and don't really have much money to replace it. Any ideas on where I could get a new one that's very similar? Pic sort of looks like it.

Old thread hit bump limit. How often does /n/ replace a cartridge BB ? I've got about 4000km on mine, some of those are winter rides. Starting to hear a creak at the same point every pedal rotation, and I think it's the BB letting off it's death rattle. It's a shimano UN55.

The Longest Flight In The World

Entire article at: http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/19/travel/worlds-longest-flight/?hpt=hp_c2 The longest flight in the world (CNN) -- Climbers conquer Everest. Runners complete the marathon. And globe-trotters master the ultralonghaul flight. Amazing advances in technology now let nonstop flights fly farther and cheaper for airlines than ever before. Many follow routes that take them near the North Pole as they whip over the top of the globe to the other side of the world. But these giant intercontinental leaps present their own challenges: How do passengers and pilots deal with annoying and potentially dangerous fatigue that comes with marathon air travel? How do twin-engine planes figure into the future of longhauls? Let's start with the king of nonstop flights: Singapore Airlines Flights 21 and 22 between Singapore and Newark, New Jersey. The route is the longest both in distance -- about 9,500 miles -- and in time -- about 19 hours.
