I want to get into hill climbing, off roading, and/or rally type driving, but I'm split on what I should do and I could use some advice. I own a 2006 Tacoma 2wd in very good condition, and there are lots of bolt on suspension options out there from inexpensive ($1500) to roughly the price tag of the Hope Diamond. I'm worried that those beginner suspension kit won't be worth the money, and I might as well buy an inexpensive Volvo XC70. I can buy an AWD Turbo Volvo XC70 in good condition for $4500. would this Swedish car made crazy driving swedes be better than a Tacoma with an inexpensive suspension upgrade? are volvos any good practically stock for dicking around on fire trails?

Sup /o/ looking to buy myself a new(er) truck.
Fucked up my old truck when I hydroplaned on a highway entrance ramp, not much room to maneuver, hit the wall, bumper blew out my tire, couldn't steer, hit another wall.
I've got 3 grand for a down payment, and my options are:
1. 2014 Chevy Silverado with 7,700 miles $20,695(random chevy dealer near me) 4.3 V6
2. 2009 Chevy Silverado with 22,000 miles $18,000(autonation no haggle price) 4.3 V6
3. Fix my 2003 GMC Sierra for about $3000 (Nothing mechanically wrong with it, but one wheel is fucked, will need new tires, bumpers, fenders, grill, lights)
I also have a cousin who works at a Nissan Stealership, and can get me a Nissan truck at lowest possible price, 0 % apr, blah blah blah.
I don't know anything about nissan trucks, so if some anon knows about which engine to avoid and what not please share all info.
But like omfg fag OP, why don't you buy a car and go FAST? Why are you truck fag? You don't even tow anything faggot!
I don't tow, but I haul alot of large, albeit not heavy items, canoes, fishing rods, camera equipment, plywood, 2x4s, electrical metal tubing, pvc. So it's a work/play Daily Driver.
