If only you mud-blooded slavshits knew how great America truly is...
the cars are cheap, powerful, and sexy, the gasoline is cheap, the food is cheap and delicious, the girls are sexy and friendly, the country itself is beautiful, fantastic warm weather, and our government isn't killing us over basic human rights
America ain't perfect, but man oh man, does it kick ass
MR2 - Sportive starting car

Anybody around who has experience with Toyota MR2? The older models.
I've recently gotten my drivers license, and am in need of a car because of my internship. It might not be the best starters car, but I don't want to drive around in a toyota aygo or something feminine.
Though I can't afford an expensive car, nor much maintenance costs. My internship does not pay me, and I only have 1 day at which I am able to work.
I know to look at basic things like the chassis. But are there any engine specific things in the MR2 which I need to remember? I've heard some suffer from oil trouble, and are in need of a completely revised engine.
Does anybody have some info, or maybe other suggestions for sporty 'cheap' cars? (Celica, Sylvia, 200sx and those kinds..)

Forza Motorsport 4 General and Challenge Mega-Thread
So as many of you noticed, the Forza Generals came back this week. In my honest opinion, they rolled back in pretty smoothly. The club on Forza 4 gained a couple new promising members ( People waiting for WRD Horizon will need to wait ) and we had two successful challenges this weekend. With our return, I've noticed minimal social chat and general bitching ( disregarding Lino and Dorito ) which is definitely a good thing. Personally it makes me glad that our transition back to the place I call home was easy and welcomed.
Now with that out of the way, we can look forward to the future events. This Saturday the 23rd, Flammen is hosting V8 Super Sedans - A take on a previous challenge with a twist. Along with Flammen's challenge, WLM3 is going to be following that on Sunday. The rules have been recycled and if you're interested in it, please post your GT, car, and number so I can add you to the entry list. The rules for both are posted below as always.

I have a dilemma
I own a 2001 Chrysler Intrepid with the 2.7L V6 and 206,000km's that I've been trying to sell for a while now
within an hour of eachother, I've been given two options
a guy wants to trade for 2 1989 Dodge RamChargers, both with 318ci V8's and 3speed automatics, and both of which "run" but arent really ready to hit the road other than to get them home
another guy wants to trade for a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro 3.4L V6 5speed that I really have very little information on other than he needs to buy an automatic car because he busted his leg in a work accident.
I am obviously going to look at all the vehicles before I make a decision, but I wanted /o/'s opinion... should I steer more towards the ramchargers or the camaro? or should I just keep my car and wait for something better to come along?
also, something to note, within the next 4 months, I am both going to have to tow a car trailer (with a car on it) and am going to go on a roadtrip involving 11 people with me being the only person who owns a car (concert in redmund)
