alright, lets do this. i told you guys that i would have some stickers to sell to the general public, and here they are.
out of the 530 stickers i purchased, i'm keeping 40 for myself. after all the pre-orders and people that emailed me, i have 79 stickers left. first come first serve.
•to make sure they're used and not hoarded, i'm imposing a limit of 3 stickers per person. i dont want these hoarded, i want them stuck on cars and i want to see pictures.
•i'll post my paypal/email address in the email field in my first reply to this thread. that way i can delete it when i run out of stickers and wont sell too many.
•as always they're $1 each, plus $1 to ship. that means the most you should send me is $4 (for 3 stickers). if you send more i'll treat it as a donation to cover my costs.
•keep in mind that i'm not making anything off this. its just for decoration, thats it and thats all. international orders actually cost me a few cents, but thats made up by domestic orders. at the end of the day i'm not even getting my stickers for free.
•when this run is done, you guys can go back to paying $5 from one of the watracing websites. i'll be moving on to another design (possibly a Powered by Super Eurobeat bumper sticker)
email me if you want the contact info for the guy who made these. they're awesome quality, easy to work with, decent turnaround time, and unbeatable prices.

I'm a 20 year old idiot, and I've become enamored with Subaru's. I've saved up enough, and gotten a loan from my bank, I have 7000 (give, or give) to spend, and I've been spending a lot of time of NASIOC looking at 02-07 Subaru WRX/STI's. I've found one (2004 wrx) close by that has little work done on it (performance mega rice shit, I'm in college and upkeep on a 400WHP engine is not in my budget, neither is what people are charging for that) and has been maintained/serviced regularly by all 3 (I know, fuck) drivers, and is currently sitting at 160xxx miles. I'm aware that there are issues that come with a car at the kind of mileage, that I am probably going to need to be very meticulous of every little issue that occurs lest I head to ringland, but is it worth it? Any Subaru (former, present) owners out there with mileage like that, long term ownership please give advice? I'm really in need of some help before I make this decision. Thanks in advance

Good Evening /o/,
So I have a group of myself and fellow engineering students going in on a 24 hours of Lemons team at CMP(Carolina Motorsports Park) in this coming September.
We have our car, a 1998 V-6 Bromaro, manual.
We have our theme: Emulated Redneck F1 tech.
Now, I would appreciate some brain storming on shit to do for our theme.
Right now planned we have an adjustable plywood wing as DRS, and a gas leafblower with the throttle cable running to a control in the car to be the Push to Pass system. We're hopeing for more ideas to add to our theme.
Pic related: Shitty picture of said bromaro. Yes its blurry as fuck. I did not take it.

>it's the guy whos miata i went to look at yesterday, that claimed a recent rebuild, but still had a short nose crank, had a 'new' top i could see day light around the edges of, and had a ruined clutch.
>oh, and the inch thick amalgamation of oil and dirt on the under tray
>apparently it started smoking badly on a test drive, and they now just want to dump it, they had a bid of $450 and wanted to know if i'd beat it
>i lol'd, and ignored it.
in other news, went to see a 93 with a replacement that has around 50k, and agreed to buy for $3000.
goods: new top, glass window, low mile engine
bads: rough idle (but pulls strong), when clutch is out in neutral there's a clanking from under the car, super high clutch pedal, with spongy feel, and a little bit of body work.
clutch just feels like it needs adjusting, and i'm sure the rough idle is just an adjustment somewhere, because it's smooth when on throttle.
the clutch thing worries me a little, throwout bearing maybe? or trans mounts?
either way, good price, solid body, low miles, new top. i'm happy.

Alright /o/, I'm looking to buy my first car. I saw a used Dodge Magnum for $5500/OBO in a car lot and I decided that I wanted it. From the quick glance I saw it looks like it was lowered slightly, and has niggerims. Other than the rims, it looks pretty good, no dents, no rust. I still need to inspect the engine. I'm going to try to talk him down to $3500 cash in hand. Persuade me to either go through with it or keep searching.
pic semi related, but obviously not the exact car I'm considering.

Alright its that time again.
What: Camping, junking, maybe catching the new Fast and Furious movie on Friday Night
Where: Hickory Run State park (reserve your camp sites now if you haven't buddied up yet at
http://www.pa.reserveworld.com/SelectCampArea.aspx?PK_ID=6409) We have slots 365 and 367 already booked. Two people can still buddy up with me on 367. Saturday morning we are doing a nice hour hooning session to EZ Pull in New Ringold to look through the cars and get any parts we might need, so make your lists and check them twice.
Saturday night I'm thinking of getting some steaks and some beans and grilling up a good dinner.
Sunday Morning is a trip to Harry's U-Pull-it in Hazleton, we've been there once before and had lots of fun looking through cars.
Sunday night is whatever we can scrounge for dinner and resting up before packing up Monday to head back home.
Plans subject to change by popular opinion.
If you are coming, please email me with a head count so I can keep track of who is and who isn't coming.
So far we have Ford240 (if money and engine problems don't prevent him from showing), Prelude + 1, 3dg3 + 2, Jackal +1 maybe, and several anons who namefagged and I forgot to note down. Once again, please email me so I can get a good headcount.

Sup /o/ pizza dude here
I've been looking for a good car for delivering in lately. I deliver on a college campus and there are always drunk kids that ask for rides and it's a good a way to make an extra $10-20 pretty easily, so I was thinking of getting a hatch back, people in front, plenty of cargo room in back for pizza and drinks. I've been searching the local craigslist for a few months but its mostly dum white boy honda civics with super cool pro highway racer packages on them (gross). Anyways, I've found a guy with a 1999 Saab 9-3 turbo 4 door hatch with 118K for $2200. I've never had an experience with saab before, any advice? My dad is a mechanic, and he taught me alot of basics, I can change breaks, oil, belts, a pump here and there. Do you know if it would be reliable and fairly easy to work on/get parts? Any known issues?

I just bought my first Subaru wagon. Did it for cheap insurance reasons, still a fun car to drive, great AWD, etc etc...
I want to make it "mine", so I'm going to do some cosmetic mods and I would like your opinions.
As you can tell, I've already changed the two tone to black on the bottom, and I'm digging it. Gonna stick with that. But what I really want, is one of the Subaru hoods with a scoop. I've seen them before on other outback LT models.
Now my main questions is, if I were to change to a scooped hood, I know the ram air intake has no big problems--would it be the same or different performance-wise? How hard would it be to change to a functional hood scoop, or should I just grab a shit stick-on scoop and keep the ram air intake?
Also, whatever other mods you guys know of for these cars are welcome. I'd like to put some real TLC into this car.
