/o/ I'm looking to buy a used sedan for around $5k. I can stretch to $6k, but I'd be hesitant to.
I'd like to get something slightly sporty/nice (V6, leather seats, etc), but mileage is also pretty important to me.
I've found that I like early 00s Mazda6s
I've found two that are somewhat close in price.
One is the '03 V6 with 130k miles - http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/ctd/3784198073.html
The other is an '04 i4 with 160k miles. - http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/cto/3795752284.html
I haven't checked either of these out in person yet, but my SO has been rather adamant that the car be i4 for mileage purposes, and under 120k miles.
is 130k-160k miles unreasonably high for a used, 10yo car?
If I want a slightly sporty sedan, should I be looking at different cars entirely?
Also, when it comes to different engines, how drastic is the difference in mileage between an i4/V6? How does that equate to money spent at the pump?
